After-School and Holiday Club for Reception to Year 2
At Building Blocks Kids Club Wimbledon, we create a safe, enriching environment fostering wonder, excitement, and learning. Our objectives include enhancing self-confidence, mental and physical agility, and promoting cooperation and respect in a home-from-home setting
Opening Times & Fees
Our core opening times are: 8.00am – 6:.00pm Monday to Friday. For your convenience extended hours from 7.30am – 6.30pm are available upon request. Our After School runs 3.30pm – 6.30pm (Term Time). The Holiday Club programme runs from 7.30am – 6.30pm and is organised around the Merton school terms.
Enriching Activities for Every Child
While relaxation is provided, age-appropriate activities are thoughtfully planned around children’s interests and developmental needs. Activities are practical, hands-on, and aligned with National Curriculum Targets. From skipping treasure hunts to bubbling volcanoes, our tailored projects engage and educate. Our dedicated staff also guide and supervise individual homework sessions
Holiday Club Adventures
Our Holiday Club offers a mix of day trips, in-house art and craft days, drama, dance, cooking, sports, science, and themed activities. Day trips are included twice a week, with additional workshops during the longer summer break.
*Please note: Our Holiday Club generally operates in line with the local state school calendar so if your child has holidays outside of these times then you will need to arrange alternative childcare
School Collection
All children will be collected from school and walk back to the Kids’ Club at a maximum ratio of 1:8 (age dependant.)
Due to the varying finishing times for the different year groups and the large number of children we collect from each of our schools, the children will be grouped accordingly to ensure a smooth transition back to the Kids’ Club.
Please note that we cannot collect children outside of the scheduled school finish times for example if your child attends a club or has a school trip that is scheduled to return later than usual. You will need to make alternative arrangements for collection during these times but are more than welcome to have your child dropped to the Kids’ Club where we can ensure dinner is waiting.
