My name is Hannah and I am the Early Years Manager for our Teddington Nursery. Since 2007 I have worked in different childcare settings alongside all age groups, my experiences include working within children and young people with complex needs, within youth centers, respite care, and within Early Years settings. I have been working at Building Blocks since October 2011, starting my journey here as a qualified Key Carer and progressing through to Early Years Manager. I have managed both our Kids Club and the main nursery, myself and Liz, the Kids Club manager, work very closely sharing our strengths and experiences across both programs. I hold a NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education and have a wide range of experience supporting children’s development. I am extremely passionate about child and staff development and the environments we provide for the children. I thoroughly enjoy spending time within the classrooms, I find this the most effective way to role model quality teaching, support the development of the classrooms and the environment and it gives me the opportunity to get to know the children within their learning environment. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, I have a son who attends a local primary school and a daughter that attends our main day care, I absolutely adore them and I love watching and supporting their development.
