Deputy Early Years Educator/Lead Early Years Educator/Primary Key Carer
Paediatric First Aid trained
My name is Hannah and I have worked at Building Blocks since September 2009. I started as a Nursery Assistant and continued to achieve my NVQ Level 3. This has given me the opportunity to grow and develop and become a Deputy Manager. Throughout my time at Building Blocks I have worked in all rooms and have gained a great knowledge of all the age groups, I enjoy supporting the children in achieving their aspirations and goals and enjoy watching them develop as they move through the nursery. I have a son that attends a local primary school who I love to spend as much of my spare time with, often involving a football.

Jemma Armstrong
Early Years Educator/Secondary Key Carer
My name is Jemma I started at Building Blocks in October 2023. I graduated in 2023 from the University of Chichester with a degree in Musical Theatre performance! I realised quickly this is a hobby of mine and I really enjoy looking after and working with children! My favourite activities are definitely messy play! Flour, sand, and water you name it. When supporting and working with children, I believe it is important to allow each child to learn through play and through their interests! Play is vital for children's development and learning in the early years of their life. Family is important to me; I recently became an Auntie welcomed my nephew into the world who I adore. I will be beginning my
Level 3 Childcare qualification in September 2024 and can’t wait to apply new knowledge to my practice. I enjoy dancing and singing with my friends and socialising in my spare time.
