My employment commenced with Building Blocks in 2017 until August 2022. I took a short career break and re-joined in October 2022. I am an innovative and highly motivated person by nature, with a responsible and caring attitude. I possess valuable experience of working with children who are Primary school age for the past 25 years, in addition to 6 years of experience in early childhood settings in the UK. I hold an NVQ Level 3 in childcare. I enjoy applying my acquired skills and knowledge of Child development in my day to day practice, which has supported my passion to gain further knowledge in Childcare. As part of my continuous development and passion to learn, I have completed a Level 2 in counselling, CPD Accredited Level 3 Child Psychology Diploma and a SEND Diploma Level 2, 3 and 4. I love children and I take delight in being a part of their world. I re-live my childhood with them and feel proud that I am part of their learning journey.

My name is Rashmi Nanwani and I joined Building Blocks in June 2021. I am patient, attentive and people regularly associate me with being nurturing. I have a flexible approach and adapt easily to new environments, will ask questions to further gain knowledge and experience in childcare. In my spare time I enjoy going to museums, exhibitions, spending quality time with my family and I recently learnt a new skill knitting. I have completed my Level 3 in Childcare and Education which I thoroughly enjoyed and I am looking forward to putting it to use and developing my journey further.

I have been working at Building Blocks since May 2018 and am looking forward to building my new career in childcare. I am planning to study for my Level 3 childcare qualifications in the near future. I love to watch children learn and discover new things through play and expand their imagination. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling to new places and spending time outdoors.

My name is Grace and I joined Building Blocks in September 2022. I attended Building Blocks as a child myself and it’s great to be back to have a positive impact on the learning and teaching of others. I have achieved my Level 2 in Childcare and will be beginning my Level 3 in September 2024. My hobbies are dancing, shopping and spending time with my family and friends.

My name is Oana I began my Building Blocks journey in February 2023, I am from Romania and have been living in UK for the past 10 years. I previously worked in the hospitality sector and am now looking forward to my career in childcare, to do what I love the most, being surrounded by children to support their all-round development through play. I am looking forward to gaining experience from my colleagues and working as part of a team. In my spare time I enjoy a lot of baking and cooking, I love to go for long walks surrounded by nature.
