Priscilla Bosah

Early Years Educator/Primary Key Carer
Paediatric First Aid trained

My name is Priscilla, also known as CeCe. I am a qualified Level 3 Early Years Educator and have been working at Building Blocks since October 2018. I have worked with every age group, from our Beautiful Babies through to our Nursery School, which I am particularly fond of. I am currently training for my Level 5 qualification in Childcare and Leadership, which I believe will support my current role and future career goals. I enjoy imaginative play, dancing, and singing. Away from the setting, I travel the world inspiring and comforting others with music, which I have been doing professionally for the past 24 years. I bring my bubbly personality to play and love engaging children in wonderful activities.

Lucy Penney

Early Years Educator/Primary Key Carer
Paediatric First Aid trained

Hello, my name is Lucy. I have been at Building Blocks since 2010. I hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and an Honours Degree in Sociology. I have experience working with all age groups and particularly enjoy working with babies and toddlers. It gives me great pleasure to teach children the foundations of life, nurturing and supporting them as they grow into confident explorers and helping them create special bonds. I have a lovely son called Will, who is football-mad. Together, we love being outdoors and supporting our teams.

Shannon Steadman

My name is Shannon, and I have been at Building Blocks since May 2015. I work three days a week. I love spending time with the children and have worked with our babies, toddlers, and pre-school during my time here. I recently completed my Level 3 qualification in Childcare and am currently training for my Level 5 in Childcare and Leadership. I enjoy using all that I have learned to provide exciting and developmental activities for the children. When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my four children. 😊

Tara Murphy

Early Years Educator/Secondary Key Carer
Paediatric First Aid trained

My name is Tara and I joined Building Blocks in July 2023. I am a caring passionate member of staff, who is currently studying towards a Psychology qualification. I have previously worked in nurseries as a nursery assistant with an agency for the past 6 months working with children aged 3 months to 5-year-old. What is important to me is working in a friendly environment, where the team supports the development of the children to their fullest potential. In my spare time, I enjoy quality time with friends and family.

Tia James

Early Years Educator

My name is Tia, and I joined Building Blocks in October 2024. I am a bubbly, approachable, and polite person with previous experience working in a nursery, caring for babies and toddlers aged 3 months to 2 years. My family is the most important thing to me, as you only have one family. My close friends are also very important to me, as they always support my decisions. In my spare time, I love socialising with friends and family, shopping, and doing girly activities with my friends.

Paula Kokunja

Early Years Educator

My name is Paula, and I joined Building Blocks in November 2024. I am from Albania, moved to Greece when I was 12 years old, and have been living in the UK since 2020. My previous experience is in hospitality, where I worked for 6 years, gaining customer care and teamwork skills. Back in September 2022 was when I first joined Building Blocks. After the birth of my second son, I wanted to spend time being a mummy, caring for my now 3½-year-old and 13-month-old sons. I am passionate about working with young children and love working in the Toddler room. I am a patient, caring educator who supports children’s development through play. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, trying new recipes, listening to music, walking, and reading stories to my children.

Iqra Rouf

My name is Iqra, and I joined Building Blocks in April 2024. I have worked for the past 4 years as a nanny, providing sole care for two children aged 3 and 6. I hold a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and am currently studying Criminology at South Bank University, which I am due to complete in October 2026. My personality is bright and bubbly, and I am very family-oriented; my family are the most important people to me! In my spare time, I enjoy listening to music and podcasts, spending quality time with loved ones, and always seeking a laugh. 😊

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, dancing, and cooking.
